Putrajaya Wetlands Park

The Putrajaya Wetlands Park has a land area of 335 hectares. While it functions as a filtering pond, It is also designated as a wildlife  sanctuary and for the flourishing ofn tropical plants. Migratory birds have been spotted to make a temporary stay here before departing to other places around the world. 

The park's lake is also home to a pair of hippopotamus, specially brought from Afrika. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk, jog or cycle along a bicycle track circling the lake. As an educational and recreational centre, there is also a Look-out tower and an Information Centre.
